About Me
I’m an experienced counsellor with an empathic, down-to-earth and authentic approach. I’m often told I have a calming presence that helps people feel at ease.
I’ve always felt drawn to understanding our human complexities, which led me to train as a counsellor over 20 years ago.
The Person-Centred approach aligns closely with my values. I believe that while many of the experiences we go through in life can feel relatable, how they impact us is always deeply personal.
I’ve also worked through my own struggles and experienced first-hand the difference counselling can make. It can be both gentle and empowering, helping to build insight, connection, and a stronger sense of self.
Being trusted to sit alongside and support others in their unique experiences continues to mean a great deal to me.
My Experience and Approach
I’ve supported people from a wide range of backgrounds over the years, with many different experiences and challenges. This has deepened my commitment to meeting each person as an individual, while recognising the different contexts that shape who we are.
I previously worked in the charity sector for Trafford Bereavement Service and now run my private practice alongside my other counselling work. I’m committed to ongoing learning and development, both personally and professionally.
My aim is to create a warm, inclusive space where you can talk freely, and feel heard and supported as you work through things.
You’re very welcome to arrange a free initial chat if you’d like to ask anything about my experience or approach.
